The Cloud of Unknowing, written in the fourteenth century by an unnamed English monk, is a guide to the interior life. In simple prose and elegant style, the author penned a timeless classic wrapped in Christian cloth but accessible to anyone, religious or non-religious, who yearns to follow a path toward God.
