As the light of autumn diminishes, and we await the Holiday seasons, may our hearts overflow with gratitude for the Earth itself, and for all that we have been given. We are created to be illuminated, and to seek the divine. We are constantly called to Love itself! Once we give our whole selves to the path without expecting anything in return, we become sowers of the gift. We no longer wait to be whole and complete. We no longer feel that we’ve been abandoned or betrayed. Instead, we realize that we are tasked with serving as a safe harbor for holiness in others, being agents of growth, and transforming the pains of our world.
Let us bow in awe before the great mystery and the wonder of being alive in our precious bodies. As we rise each morning, let us marvel at the benevolence of the entire creation, pray before the beauty of the light, and offer our hearts to peace. We who are nurtured in the ecstasy of your holy womb and are born into the divinity of matter, may we become a force of joyful reconciliation. We, who are a miracle of compassion, just now coming to be. Amen.
